For my architecture project I will design a two story beach house for young couple. This villa will be located in Dominican Republic with legendary Caribbean Sea.

Local industry produces cement, cement blocks, concrete, concrete mixtures, tiles, mosaics, paint and steel reinforcement. It also manufactures PVC pipes and connectors from locally sourced materials, plumbing fixtures, tanks, wood doors and windows, metal windows and frames, fiberglass items, plumbing and gas fittings, and certain electrical accessories. Because of their high quality, building enterprises serving the middle and higher classes typically prefer foreign construction items.

Because the Dominican Republic has a tropical environment, the building industry is not affected by seasonal changes. Dominican home construction methods and materials may differ slightly from others due to cheaper labor costs, while Dominican homes in cities are typically composed of cement. Metal and prefabricated constructions are becoming more popular. Houses in rural areas, where incomes might be very low, are typically constructed of wood and corrugated galvanized sheets. It is also worth noting that Dominican builders have progressively adopted green building approaches in their projects over the last two years. Most homes have ceramic tile flooring, while some upscale flats in buildings popular with Santo Domingo's upper class may have parquet or even marble floors.

Due to the long-lasting performance, characteristics of sand, and the durability provided by salt water, the composition of the material used in beach architecture is critical.
