Major Project: Initial Ideas.
Project Objectives
For my architecture project I will design a two story beach house for young couple. This villa will be located in Dominican Republic with legendary Caribbean Sea. For this project I will create 2-4 architecture design boards that showcase a concept and my view on modern time, concept drawings, floorplans, elevations, site specifics, environmental considerations, and local demographics.

Modern Rural Retreat Featuring a Robust, Functional and Minimalistic design. A two storey house, for a couple and their son, is structured within a square volume of 9 by 9mts. Inside intersects another volume at a higher level, which is rotated 45 degrees in relation to the floor plan, allowing double heights and the arrangement of spaces in the first floor.

Two-story house
with just a 15′ x 20′ footprint designed by Bates + Masi Architects. Just because
the house was relatively small, didn’t mean they had to go to boring route. The Beach
Hampton house, located in Amagansett, New York, displays slight
shifts in geometry, helping to make the most of natural light while maintaining
the tight footprint. required to build the house six feet above the
natural grade, per FEMA, and the town restricted the height to just 25′ feet
above grade. That left just 600 square feet to work with. By expanding the
volume towards the top, the interior feels larger and it makes way for an
interior light well that brings light to the ground floor.
Walker Warner Architects: Hale Nukumoi is the quintessential Hawaiian beach retreat: open and casual—the opposite of fussy. Set amidst mature palm trees, the complex is ready-made for family and friends. Composed of a main house and guest house, the site features a large yard and pool, as well as beach access. An indoor/outdoor lifestyle is exemplified by the home’s airy design: large sliding doors and walls, a custom two-story rainscreen, and layered plantings balance connections to nature with privacy.
