First Thoughts on the Project Themes

 First Thought

Industrial

Industrial style is related to the theme of the industrial sector. The design uses raw materials and elements such as concrete, iron and metal. As for the colour palette, in my mind it would be various shades of grey. I would take an industrial office or factory as an idea. If it's a factory, then with pipes and chimneys. Also, perhaps steel beams and brick walls. High ceilings, and visible pipes and wires throughout the building both inside and out.

Pop-Art

If talk about pop art, it is an attraction of attention with its energetic constructions, bright colours, various geometric patterns in the interior, abstract shapes and textures. A mix of everything different and seemingly incompatible. This is not really my thing, as I prefer something more calm and minimalistic, but still eye-catching and creating a positive impression. I would create a shop with various staff, or a comic book or paint shop. I would use bright contrasting colours for the facade, add graffiti of famous pop art paintings on the walls, and make the signs glowing and neon. I would also use large letters of different shapes and colours to create text describing the idea of the shop.

Primitivism

Primitivist architecture can be characterised by its simplicity, the use of natural materials and archaic forms. In my project, I would create a restaurant in the shape of a large egg in light natural colours, made of stone or clay. No complicated decorative elements, everything is very simple and functional. The restaurant would also be with large windows, and inside the room is light also everything is simple and concise with furniture made of stone, wood and other natural materials. I would also use light coloured furs on the chairs for the design.

Of these three styles, primitivism is probably the closest to me. It is simplicity and minimalism. But in my project, I would like to try something new and opt for industrial. Because this style has aroused a lot of interest in me, especially when it is used in the design of living space.

  1. Ok, but there is still some evidence of translation or at least paraphrasing in your text. If you do paraphrase, make sure you CITE your source and add a reference. There should be references for your images as well in this post, so edit it and add referencing.

Not sure I am absolutely convinced you are clear on the reasons for choosing Industrial. What was it exactly that attracted you to this theme? Saying it relates to a 'living space' is okay if you can back that up with reasons or imagery that illustrate what you mean.
